Is it the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

I am an avid AFL football fan.  In the recent weeks I have listened to many situations that appear to be the truth or part of the truth. I have watched as people have defended their characters with fragments of the truth.

AFL footballI am reminded of other sports whereby peoples reputations have been questioned and they also hung onto fragments of truth.

lance armstrongWhy do people do this:

Is it arrogance?

Is it self belief?

Or is it ignorance?

There are statements such as, “the truth will set you free”, for some of these people the truth might give them a life sentence, but maybe the personal internal sentence is a greater entrapment.

Do you listen and live your truth?  The truth is important to hear about ourselves. Remember it is wrapped up in our self esteem, our pride and our sense of self righteousness.

Breaking freeBeing our truth is powerful.   It means we acknowledge, who we are, what we believe, what we stand for and what we do.

Did you see the passerby?

Do you take notice of all the things that pass you by in life?

Do you notice the passerby?

Do you notice the passerby?

It could be people, places, things, but it also could be your experiences, sensations and emotions.

These things that pass you by, occur because you are meant to experience them.  If you don’t notice them, then you have missed an opportunity.  An opportunity to learn, grow, experience, love, live and connect.  How many opportunities have you missed?

Sometimes we are so caught up going somewhere, or being something, rather than experiencing the journey of our lives.

Experience life

Experience life

Seeing a passerby, means focusing on the moment, being present, noticing all things around you and lastly its means living life at a slower pace.

Maybe it is time to let go of the outcome, the goal or what is next, and focus on the here and now.  Consider these options:

  • What if you walked slower?
  • What if you stopped to ponder?
  • What if you saw the colours of life?
  • What if you felt everything?
  • What if you saw meaning in all things?
Slow down and experience life

Slow down and experience life

Try today, being slower, noticing more, seeing life in full colour, experiencing every minute of your life, feeling all your emotions and savouring the tastes of life.  You might be surprised at how much wisdom you gain.

Living life moment by moment, Tracy xx

Do you really feel yourself?

Now that sounds a little rude doesn’t it?  Do you really feel yourself?  Do you really feel what is going on for you? Are things right for you, or not right for you?  Are you living your life?

Do you feel yourself

Do you feel yourself

Do you feel your truth?

Sometimes people can go through life numb, or ignoring their feelings and messages.  Sometimes people are so focused on others, they forget to feel what is right for themselves.  Sometimes people don’t know where to even start to look about how they feel.  Sometimes people don’t want to look or feel.

how_to_feel_good_about_yourself_everyday_1Feeling your truth is about really connecting with yourself.  It is about living your truth in each and every moment.

When you live your truth, you will be making statements to yourself like:

  • This is right for me
  • I am happy.
  • I am upset.
  • I love myself.
  • I am jealous.
  • I am living my life.
  • I am scared.
  • I am trusting in what comes to me.
  • I have surrendered.

You can ask yourself these statements as questions.  Feel the answers. Your heart, your body, your soul will tell you the answers.   They will tell you your truth.

Feel your truth

Feel your truth

Don’t turn off your feelings.  Don’t numb yourself to your truth, both good and not so good.  Being in your truth is powerful, brave and courageous.

Truthfully yours Tracy xx

There’s no place like home

It doesn’t matter whether you are a world traveller or you have never been outside your home town.  There is no place like home.

There's no place like home

There’s no place like home

But where is home?

You can find it in these places:

  • Home is where you are loved.
  • Home is where your heart is filled with joy.
  • Home is where your feet feel like they take root into mother earth.
  • Home is where you lay your head to rest and you are at peace.

Have you found your home?

It is anywhere where you are, you just have to feel its energy within you.

Feeling my home,  Tracy xx

Do your feet really touch the ground?

Have you ever been on a holiday or worked overseas? Whilst flying your feet really don’t touch the ground until you arrive at your destination.

Do you feet really touch the ground

Do you feet really touch the ground

When we walk around in our daily lives here at home, we are connecting with the energies of our land and our ancestors.  Our parents, grandparents and maybe even great grandparents have toiled the land here in Australia in whatever form of work they did.   Their blood and sweat have been left in the earth here in Australia.  So we are feeling that energy in our land and of our ancestors.

When you go to another country, you are connecting with another person’s land, and another person’s ancestors.  However you may also be connecting with your land and your ancestors of a past life as well.

Another landThe energy is different, it will feel different if you are sensitive enough to notice.   Maybe you have never really even thought about it before.

When I returned to Australia the last time I was away, I felt a bubbling within my feet as I touched Australian earth, it felt like I was recalibrating with my life, the land and ancestors here.

Next time you go somewhere allow your feet to really touch the ground and feel the land, you might be surprised.

What ship is your relationship on?

Relationships are funny, we are in them from birth and have no choice.  Initially we are someone’s child, then maybe a sister or brother and even a cousin.  Then as life goes on, we move into other types of relationships that of a, friend, girlfriend, boyfriend, lover, partner, spouse, parent and maybe even divorced or separated.

Your relation SHIPS

Your relation SHIPS

Some of these relationships are easy to sail upon.  They are meant to be life long.  Some happen for a period of time or for a lesson.   Some relationships just happen in passing.

How do we determine the difference?

Relationships that are meant to last, are with people you are meant to connect with, they take the time for you and you for them.

When a relationship becomes difficult, one way or they don’t speak to you anymore, it means that these relationships are not meant to be or are finished with. They are the lesson relationships or passing relationships.

Pulling the relation SHIP

Pulling the relation SHIP

Sometimes we want to hang on to those difficult relationships, because we thought we were friends, or because we don’t want to face up to the reality of the situation, that the relationship is over.  The more we try and hang on, the more it can feel like dragging the ship backwards against the current.

Now is the time to be honest with yourself and let go of those relationships that are over and begin the smooth sailing of your life.

And remember, connect with the people who want to connect with you, you will know who those people are.

Can you find yourself on the other side of the globe?

This week as I travelled to the other side of the globe, I felt like I had lost myself.

Have you found yourself on the other side of the globe?

Have you found yourself on the other side of the globe?

After my first day of work over here, I went into doubt.  I asked myself these questions:

  • Did I really know what I was doing?
  • Did I have enough activities?
  • Would my customers be disappointed?
  • Should I really be doing this?
  • Should I be home, safe and sound?
Who am I?

Who am I?

After an evening of working hard, followed by a sleepless night.  I found the answer.

My answer was:

  • Trust in me.
  • I have all the skills I need.
  • I know that I have been doing this for a long time.
  • I have been given this opportunity for a reason.
Trust yourself

Trust yourself

Travelling overseas to the Middle East is part of my spiritual journey, I don’t have all the answers about what the whole of my journey means, just yet.  What I do know, is that sometimes we are given journeys to develop.  Develop things like trust, knowing, and believing.  Journeys to find yourself.

I have found myself, or more of myself on the other side of the globe.

Are you finding yourself, anywhere you are?

See you on the path of self discovery, Tracy xx

Have you explored Wonderland?

Have you tried letting go of expectations? Have you explored Wonderland?

Have you explored Wonderland?

Have you explored Wonderland?

For someone who is planned and organised, having expectations of outcomes, results and where you can end up, are expected.

This is where the problem lies, in your mind becuase you have already got the thing or result before you have even lived it. You know what your going to eat, what you going to do and how you will do it.  So when any of those things don’t eventuate, all you end up with is disappointment.

For the last 5 weeks, my life has been in the hands of other people to organise and arrange.  Now initially this was not my choice and later it became my choice.

It has meant that I have headed overseas at the last minute.  It has meant that I travelled with my husband throughout outback Australia not having planned or thought about, where we would go or what we would do.  I left it all up to him.

The great thing about not having any expectations, means there is no disappointment. You have nothing to compare the outcome or result with and you end up having an amazing time full of wonder and excitement.

The other great thing is, it is very freeing.  Freeing of the constraints I used to put on my life.

Now I still like to organise and plan but just letting go and allowing what ever door to open and whatever happens to happen, is like exploring Wonderland.

Open door

Open door

I ask you to give it a go, let go and see what is possible in Wonderland where there aren’t expectations, just surprises.

Off through a new door, Tracy x

Are you scared of scarcity?

Scarcity means we don’t have enough, money, food, water or love.

Are you scared of scarcity?

Are you scared of scarcity?

Are you scared of scarcity?

What I have found travelling through outback Australia is that the indigenous cultures, dealt with scarcity in ways that meant they were never in scarcity.

So how did they do that?

They honoured the resources that were in abundance or in scarce supply.  They only ever used as much as they needed, no more.  They knew that in abundant times, not to take all that was there, so as to provide opportunities for regrowth for the next season or the next year, or for those that came after.

We in the city have become complacent with our resources.  We have an abundance of water, food, for some money and others love.  When we don’t honour those resources we have and when they become scarce we can become scared.  What will we do?

Honouring and respecting all your resources

Honouring and respecting all your resources

My answer is this, live with honour for all that you have, all the resources in your life, such as water, food, money and love.  Honour them, use them for what you need, prepare for times of scarcity when abundance abounds.

When we honour and respect our resources we can live comfortably in times of scarcity and in times of abundance.  A lesson well worth learning.

With honour and respect Tracy xx

Is time ever right?

Have you found that the timing in your life, is ever right?

Is the time ever right

If you get pregnant, you must wait 9 months generally before the baby is ready to be born.  The timing must be right.  You cannot bring it forward just because it suits you.

Some of us are impatient with our lives and we want things now.  Many of us have heard statements like:

  • “all in good time”
  • “everything is being divinely guided”
  • “everything is as should be”

All in good time or is it?

Sometimes we must wait

  • Wait to grow up.
  • Wait for others to grow up.
  • Wait for years to pass before people are ready to accept things.
  • Wait for the planets to line up and the stars to be in a certain orbit and the moon in a certain place, for things to fall into place.

Is the time ever right?

The time appears to be right in retrospect.  As we look back on our lives, we know that things happened as they should have.  We would not have been ready had those things happened earlier in our lives.

If time is right in retrospect, can we in this moment then see, the past, present and future all at the same time?

You can, if you trust.

If you trust that you are doing exactly what you are meant to be doing, right now, then the time is right.

Blindly trusting means the time is always right.

Trusting Tracy xx
