Is that pimple really yours?

You know, even at the ripe old age that I am, I can still look in the mirror and see a pimple on my face.  I am not 15 anymore, so pimples aren’t a regular occurrence on my skin like they used to be.

But when I see a pimple, do I:

  • Blame the chocolate I ate?
  • Blame my woman’s cycle?

Or

  • Take responsibility for my pimple?

Like it or not the pimple is there.  I like to take responsibility for my pimple, so the things I do are:

  • Say hello
  • Thank God for oil in my skin
  • Acknowledge that it is there for a reason – my reason.
  • Nothing or no one has created this pimple but me.

Pimples are like lessons in life, take responsibility for them, they are yours and yours to learn from.

So love your pimples even at ripe old age….hahaha.

Who is living in a fairy tale?

Once upon a time…..

There was a little girl with red hair and she thought she could fly just like Mary Poppins.  She went outside with her umbrella, stood on the stool and jumped.  As she floated to the ground, she knew she had flown.

Now sadly her sisters didn’t believe her.   Was it the wind that caught her light weight or something else?

Image by dream_story_book_by_holliewood1391-d2zonf0Believe it or not we all have stories that may or may not be true.  But you don’t have to be 5 to be telling them, you might be 25, 45 even 75, because our lives are full of stories and our stories are full of perceptions.

Most statements people make are littered with perceptions or how they see and experience the world.  So is their world just a fairy tale?

I have spent the week listening to myself and seeing how much of a fairy tale I live in.  I was surprised, I could barely make a statement without it having perceptions all though it.  Why don’t you try it and just see?

There is a nice gentle breeze passing by, I am just going to get my unbrella….

Duelling ego’s

One of the important lessons in life is letting go of your ego.

If you haven’t let go of your ego, you may find it has the potential to bring you down, make you feel inadequate, make you unhappy and have unrealistic expectations.

Duelling ego'sThis week I was privy to sit on the outside of a group and watch duelling ego’s. It was about better, better and best. I saw two opposing people, who felt the need to share what they had done, what was better than the other, and who was the best.

Their ego’s were duelling and this behaviour went on for days. It served no purpose other than to make them feel good and someone else feel less than.

When you let go of your ego you find you will be in a peaceful place.  There are no competitions.  No one to better, it is a place of compassion and authenticity.

just be youTry it. Let go of your ego and just be.  Tracy xx

Trust

Trust is an amazing tool that we all have.  Do you trust in yourself?  Do you trust in yourself as much as you could?

trustTrust has a flow on effect in our lives.  If you trust, all things that you need will come to you.

i-want-more-111795-530-530Trust doesn’t come from ‘ego wants’.  Trust comes from ‘your highest good needs’ and there is a difference.

Everyday whilst I have been away in the UAE I have trusted.  I trusted what I needed would come to me.  Whether I was reading the newspaper or shopping for some food, I found that examples I could use in my sessions based on activities in the UAE arrived for me.   I purchased my special UAE celebratory sunglasses which I used as an example of linear creativity.

Dubai winning the 2020 Expo bid was a great example of strategic management. The rainy weather over here was also another example.  An article in the newspaper about an Emirate citizen that lived without power many years ago was used for creative and innovative thinking, how would you cope if you didn’t have power now.

5-everything-you-needIt is powerful to trust and know that what you need will come your way.

So do you trust?  Watch out that your trust is not dusted with doubt.  It only works if your trust is trust only!

Once you step into the flow of trust it is amazing, powerful, supportive and loving.

What is a spiritual home?

Do you know where your spiritual home is? Do you know what it would be like to be there?

homesweet homeA spiritual home is where you and your soul feel comfortable.

It is a place where life flows.

In the flowIt is where doors are unlocked.

It is a place of peacefulness but not outside of you, but on the inside of you.

It is where your heart can open and shine.

It is where time means nothing.

It is where you are authentically you.

authentic selfIt is where you are inspired.

It is where you are truthful to yourself and others.

Have you found your spiritual home?

Everyone can, all you have to do is, be open, ask yourselves the statements above, see if the answers are yes.  If so, you have found your spiritual home.

Ground, ground and ground some more

One of the keys to living a spiritual life, is to ground, ground and ground some more.

Have you ever seen a helium balloon been accidently let go of and get caught by the wind? It goes up and up, blown about by which ever way the wind is blowing.

BalloonOn our spiritual journey of healing and spiritual growth, you will find your vibration is being raised as you become enlightened.  Sometimes it will be raised so high that you might begin to feel like a helium balloon.  When this happens you might feel like your helium balloon has escaped and is floating up and up. This can feel quite disconcerting as you may feel like you have gotten a little out of control.

This is the time when grounding becomes even more vital, because you don’t want your helium balloon to get away.

So how do you ground?PA120008

  • Take your shoes off and walk barefoot on the grass.
  • Touch a tree and feel your roots go down into mother earth.
  • Lie on the ground and feel mother earth’s energies come up and embrace you.
  • Have a shower or a swim.
  • Dig in the garden.
  • Eat some fruit.
  • Eat some root vegetables.
  • Eat some meat.
  • Drink a black coffee.

At times when you feel like a helium balloon, ground, ground and ground some more.

Do you follow the breadcrumbs?

Like Hansel and Gretel leaving a trail of breadcrumbs to follow, spirit leaves us a trail or breadcrumbs or messages along our path to follow.

Do you follow the breadcrumbs?

Do you follow the breadcrumbs?

Sometimes something else eats the breadcrumbs and so they appear not to be there. Sometimes we just don’t see the breadcrumbs right under our feet. Sometimes we don’t know that spirit has left us breadcrumbs to follow.

How do you follow the breadcrumbs?

Follow your instinctsTrust that spirit is guiding you on your path.

Trust that spirit is leaving you breadcrumbs or messages along the way.

Trust that what you notice is spirit tapping you on the shoulder to say, here is a breadcrumb (message).  It could be a bird, it could be cloud, it could be a song on the radio, it could be the wind.  Notice what you notice…..

So what now with the breadcrumbs?

Look for the breadcrumbs, look for the signposts.

thiswayTrust it is a message for you.

Write them down.

Think about what it means to you.

Trust that you will know what it means to you.

They will always be there even if you don’t notice.

Enjoy seeing the breadcrumbs along your path.  Tracy xx

Being okay

At each stage of our lives, we change, grow, learn and life becomes new. At each stage we may find that we are not okay being ourselves.  As things change we can become uncomfortable.  Finding peace within changing times in our lives is about finding our “okayness” within our journey and the stage we are at.

happy-monday-13-ways-to-learn-and-growAs a child or maiden / youth we physically change in our bodies.  We become taller and stronger.  We go to school, learn new things and form the foundations of the whole of our lives.  This is a time where we are truly at peace and okay in our lives.  The younger we are the more okay we actually are.

silhouettes-of-parents-and-kidsAs we move into the mother or father stage of our lives, we change and grow again.  We find a mate and focus on becoming a family.   Our bodies may change to give birth to children.  We change roles from child to parent and put into action our beliefs about how children should be raised that are our own and some of our parents beliefs.  During this period in our lives we may be so busy focusing on others, that we may forget to find out whether we are okay or not.

Phenom-Wise-Up-631Lastly we move into the crone or sage stage of our lives.  We continue to change and grow.  Our bodies change into this wise stage.  We hopefully have learned many of the lessons of the past. If we have chosen to, we may have healed many things and are now more peaceful and okay with who we really are.  Leading to being comfortable in our own skin and wisdom.

stages-of-lifeWouldn’t it be wonderful if we could maintain our ‘okayness’ throughout our lives, but we are here to learn and grow so moving in and out of ‘okayness’ is part of learning and growing and a part of our journey.

Letting go

I have a couple of weeks before I head down south to visit my family and friends for 10 days.  It is time to visit as there are 2 new great nephews to be introduced to and also to see my Mum who is in full time care with the latter stages of Alzheimer’s.

Upon my return I could be heading overseas again.  I do like to plan so I asked the company I work for in the Middle East for the topics I might be presenting, so I could get organised before I went away on my holiday.

over-under_yale-wolf_nothing_2_u_1000Nothing – no response.

Now that is not unusual, they are busy.

What was unusual was how I reacted.

iStock-balloons-letting-goI let it go.

I decided there was nothing I could do, so I chose to not even think about it.

I also trusted that I will get it done in the two days I have when I return.  2 days is not a lot of time to develop 5 days of training.

So I went about organising my life.  Booked in a couple of drum making clients, a mentoring client, visit to the Doctors all in the last week before I go.

When you let something go and I mean really let it go, if it is meant to come, it will.  Last night I received the email giving me the 4 courses I may need to run.

I don’t have a lot of time but more than 2 days to get organised.

Do you really let go in your life?

Do you really let go of your thoughts as well when you let go?

When do you really commit?

Commitment is an interesting word.  When does your commitment to something really begin?

CommittmentDoes it begin when you purchase something?

Does it begin when you decide to do something?

Or does it begin by just setting your intention?

It actually begins when you start to value the thing you have committed to.

value-of-something-Money can place a value on something, be it $100 or $100,000, but does money really value something?

Do you value your opinion?

Do you value your choices?

We value our choices when it is right for the whole of us, our physical, emotional and spiritual selves.

commitmentWhen you truly commit to something is means it is right for the whole of you.

So think about true commitment the next time you want to purchase something or choose to do something, ask is it right for the whole of you?  If it is, then you will have true commitment to it.

Committed to living an authentic life.  Tracy xx
